Seven Tips for Photo Competition and Contests
From time to time I’m asked to judge on-line and in-person photo contests but because of time restraints, I’ve limited the number of competitions I will be available to judge this year. Instead, I’m focusing my time on face-to-face critiques that I do for charity and on mentoring sessions. In the meantime, here are some tips that I would like to pass on that can help you score higher in your next contest or competition:

Lab Report: Mike’s Camera, Lone Tree

In the review, I’ll tell you how well they did, what the experience was like and use a rating system to rank each lab. In addition to lab reports, I also plan to write Film Reviews, looking at the performance of various and different kinds of film, such as Eastman Double-X.
Hispanic Heritage Month Continues
This week we continues to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. It runs from September 15 to October 15, highlighting the histories, cultures and contributions of those American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
