Mary is not much of a reader; her preference is with non-fiction self-help books. But right now she is recuperating from joint replacement surgery and has asked me ti get her some books by Erin Hilderbrand.

Would there be any difference in the quality of my images if I had a newer computer with the latest hardware and software? Maybe. But I can only work with the hardware and software that I own and can afford and I suspect that’s the case for many of this blog’s readers as well.

If you want to give your portraits a “film look,” why not just shoot them with film? This portrait is of Megan, who was a student pâtissier at the time I photographed her.

At 14mm (in the above photograph)  the Zuiko Digital ED 7-14mm f/4 has a 75 degree angle of view that when used indoors shows off this rare McLaren GT road car, actually driven by Bruce McLaren, and some of the other cars in The Mathews Collection.
