It’s been chilly (and snowy) this past week, here on Daisy Hill, which got me thinking of warmer climes and warmer times, which then got me thinking about Key West, Florida.

I recently noticed a trend. Even though only some of each month’s posts on this blog were about black and white photography—like yesterday’s— it seems that these were the most popular posts. And I think I can understand why.

Photowalking is typically thought of as a communal activity for camera enthusiasts who gather in a group walking around with a camera for the purpose of taking pictures of things that interest them. Although the term implies the simple activity of taking pictures while walking, the more modern use of PhotoWalk in the USA specifically relates to a shared activity* of camera enthusiasts.
