Film Friday Weekend: Video Roundup

Today’s Post by Joe Farace

“You made me promises, promises, You knew you’d never keep”—Naked Eyes

If you read my post The New Year in Film: Resolutions, you might remember that one of my resolutions was to shoot more video/vlogs in 2022. I also mentioned that I wanted to “keep exploring new, different ways and hopefully better ways to improve how these videos look and sound.” To that end, I’m planning on shooting more videos on location at the various places where I’m taking photo walks, for instance. Also I want to shoot in my Work Room where together we can take a look at the negatives that were shot on those very same photo walks.

Since locally processed black and white film takes two weeks and having The Darkroom process it in California takes some time (although not as long) the production lead time on some of these future videos will take longer. And then there’s the weather: The weather here since Christmas has been horrible. It’s been really cold and snowy with high winds, which contributed to the devastating wildfires near Boulder more than fifty miles from our home on Daisy Hill.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you the 45-second gag real that I posted on my YouTube channel and mentioned on Instagram but never shared on this blog or other social media. It’s (obviously) short and might give you a laugh or two. And if you missed any of my other Film Friday videos, below is a list with links to them:
