Let’s jump into my time machine DeLorean to see how digital camera technology has changed…

In a previous post, I wrote that “…the thought of photographing strangers terrified me.” That statement referred to an assignment that my teacher at the Maryland Institute College of Art gave us studio in the wayback times.

I like infrared photography because it lets you create the kind of images that you can only imaging. Mary calls the results you get “otherworldly” but there are other, more practical reasons too.

My Sunday series on outdoor portraiture continues today with a portrait of Tomiko. She is a lovely model who I was lucky enough to photograph at two different group model shoots that were hosted by the late Dave Hall in Arizona.
