While I ponder the existential nature of my friend Mr Weston’s quote, I think about what Oscar Wilde had to say on this subject—”Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist, not of the sitter.” and how Richard Avedon said, “My portraits are more about me than they are about the people I photograph.”

The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray split window coupe is, I think, the most beautiful modern American car. I think that in the pantheon of automobile designs, it’s right up there alongside the most beautiful British modern car ever built, the 1961 Series 1 Jaguar E-type.
