One of my favorite classic movies is 1936’a Things to Come that’s based on a novel by H.G. Wells and directed by William Cameron Menzies. What’s that got to do with this post. Well not much, but it’s shot on film and foretells what’s to come and that’s what I’m going to try to do today.

Much to my wife’s consternation I have always wanted to visit Easter Island to, what else, photograph “the heads.” I’ll probably never make this bucket list trip so this infrared photograph made at the Arvada  Center for the Performing Arts may be as close as I get.

When testing cameras, lenses and lighting equipment, I need models who are interested in posing for the photographs you see on this blog. I’m looking for models to work with on these projects, especially my new emphasis on film photography and I’m especially interested in finding a new muse.
