Mary is not much of a reader; her preference is with non-fiction self-help books. But right now she is recuperating from joint replacement surgery and has asked me ti get her some books by Erin Hilderbrand.

If you want to give your portraits a “film look,” why not just shoot them with film? This portrait is of Megan, who was a student pâtissier at the time I photographed her.

At 14mm (in the above photograph)  the Zuiko Digital ED 7-14mm f/4 has a 75 degree angle of view that when used indoors shows off this rare McLaren GT road car, actually driven by Bruce McLaren, and some of the other cars in The Mathews Collection.

When I wrote about how I changed my mind from hating different camera’s Auto ISO feature to loving it, albeit reservedly, I admitted to changing my mind about something I had strong feelings about one way to go 180 degrees in the other direction. But there’s more to this post than that…
