According to Wikipedia, a classic car is typically described as an automobile that is 25 years or older, so at 49 years old my former 924 meets that criteria. But Wiki adds “although a car’s age is not the only requirement it must meet before being considered a classic.”

One of the biggest advantages of shooting infrared images is that the medium has the power to transform seemingly mundane subject matter into unforgettable images. Everyday scenes you might walk by and never think of photographing, take on a more dramatic look when seen in infrared light.

My Sunday series on outdoor portraiture continues today with a portrait of Shannelle, a model that I only photographed at a group model shoot in Phoenix. Arizona and today’s featured image is from that shoot.

Back in the film when I got serious about photography I considered myself to be a fine art photography and shot uncropped, square images with old TLRs using black and white film that I processed and printed myself. I also considered myself to be a “good” photographer.
