Today’s Post by Joe Farace
The long answer to the above question is no and yes. The big summertime car shows are still far, far away, especially as I look out the window of my office and there’s still lots of snow on Daisy Hill today from yesterday’s storm.
But on the second Saturday of each month, The Vehicle Vault in Parker, Colorado sponsors a Cars & Coffee event they call Espresso & Exhaust and while during some winters we are blessed with wonderfully mild weather for these events, the weather during this particular winter has not been as kind. Yet I remain hopeful that the weather at the next event on March 9, will be better. You can find details about the show along with directions and hours on the Vehicle Vault’s calendar here. I plan on being there will again be giving away LensPen prizes; all you have to do is come up to me and say “Hi!” I hope to see you there.

Speaking of Lambos
If you are a fan of Lamborghini supercars, as I am, please check out my review of the book Lamborghini Supercars 50 Years that appears on this blog.
This beautifully printed coffee table book that features the photography of James Mann. Mr. Mann is, I think, one of the finest automobile photographers in the world and if you’ve seen his work in the wonderful English magazine Classic & Sports Cars, you know what I mean. If you’ve never see this magazine before, pick up a copy at your local Barnes & Noble and prepare to be amazed to see how a car magazine should look.
Certainly Lamborghini Supercars 50 Years is a splendid example of the sheer artistry of his work. He is also author of How to Photograph Cars, an informative book that takes you behind the scenes showing how he creates his automotive masterworks.
