There are all kinds of photographers out there in the world and I’m not just talking about portrait shooters, landscape photographers or astrophotographers. All of these genres also include (at least) four major categories of photographers that I’m about to describe.

As Douglas Adams says near the beginning of his book, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, “This never happens…” A subject meets a photographer in the studio who then tells them “stand over there,” clicks the shutter and the resulting pose is perfect.

According to Wikipedia, a mood wall or board is a collage consisting of images, text and objects built around a set topic or any material that’s chosen at random.

World Photography Day is an annual, worldwide celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography.

A muse is a woman or a force that’s personified as a woman and who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist, or in my case a portrait and glamour photographer.

I’ve written about this incident before but not within the context of this book club, so I think it bears repeating today for the lesson it holds…
