The Leica Z2X was a small but hefty (8.64 oz) 35mm point-and-shoot camera with a Vario-Elmar 35-70 mm f/4.0-7.6 that consisted of seven elements in six groups. When turned on, the lens extends from the body and automatically closes when camera is switched off.

As a Caribbean island Puerto Rico is the smallest of the Greater Antilles yet it’s part of the United States so a passport isn’t required to visit. Located in the northeastern Caribbean, Puerto Rico is east of the Dominican Republic and west of the Virgin Islands and is a two-hour flight from Miami. The Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport is actually in Isla Verde nine miles from the capital city of San Juan and the short cab or shuttle ride to the city is lined with modern hotels in a lush tropical setting.

Under tricky lighting conditions, sometimes the best solution is to shoot a series of images varying your exposures with each one from what would be considered underexposure to normal and then overexposure.
